A note to every mom… At 26-years-old, I had four children five and younger. I loved my job as a mother but to be quite honest, I was completely overwhelmed. Some days I would feel as though I had a handle on things, but many days I was sure I was screwing it all up.
My children’s futures loomed large ahead of me, and my everyday parenting decisions were questioned constantly by everyone around me. It was a challenging time for sure.
In parenting, it’s important to keep our long-term hopes, prayers and goals for our children and their futures in the forefront of our mind but it’s also equally as vital to just focus on the task at hand. The next school day, the next practice, the next homework assignment. And it’s VERY important to realize that while WE may screw up our parenting plenty, God’s loving grace, mercy, and infinite wisdom will more than cover over and give us the strength to keep moving forward.
These time tested and battle-worn truths are just a few of the helpful lessons I share in my book, “Please God Don’t Let Me Screw This Up!” Purchase your copy here.
