Love your blog! It’s so inspiring and a great source for advice. Thank you for sharing! Question, how do you break the bad habit if you’ve already started…there are some nights they won’t eat something they normally eat and go to bed saying they are starving. If I don’t give them something (usually a banana at that point) they wake up in the middle of the night. What do you do if they don’t eat the dinner that’s in front of them. I have a 4,3 and 1 year old. Thanks!

I can see the challenge with a big family, but choices have been fun for mine. My children are grateful and surprise me often with how well they choose. They’re also learning thier way around the kitchen. My three-year-old can crack eggs and has an amazingly sturdy, measuring hand. The kitchen is a fun space for us and we’ve bonded so well there. Having an ability to choose is huge in that for us. ? Certainly something I would not go back and do differently. ?

Tracy I am so happy you have found what works for your family! God bless! Enjoy cooking together! That too can be a big help in shaping their willingness to try new foods!
