Multi-generational.
We had people as young as six and as old as 75 working together for American Sweetheart. Even my MOM got in on the making of the bouquets!
Multi-faith.
Baptist. Pentacostal. Catholics. Lutherans. Episcopalian. And even a couple of non-believers.
Multiple church bodies represented. Different churches, different groups within churches. Family Church, Christ Fellowship. Lost Tree Chapel. And Calvary Jupiter. Youth groups, Young Adults. The college ministry. A few small groups.
Lots of pizza. Lots of coffee. Much laughter and a few tears. Prayer over the gifts and for the Gold Star wives that will receive them. My best guess is probably over 500 man hours.
Boys and Girls. Women and men. Kids, parents, and even grandparents. All working together to make flowers, box them, and write notes. Label. Stamp. Send.
Ministry happening at every corner as moms asked questions and were encouraged. Teens laughed and joked and served endlessly…blaring their music all hours of the night working away.
For every $35 dollar arrangement bought we send one to a Gold Star wife. And today’s your last day to get in on the fun.
Today’s the last day to purchase a handmade bouquet that will last way longer than any fresh flowers, made with love and care by some serious Americans crazy about this country and those that have paid for our freedoms with the lives of their loved ones.
If you’re one of those crazy grateful Americans, then purchase your American Sweetheart bouquet today and show your gratitude for someone who has lost everything that you may have anything at all.

Hello, I love the bouquets for the Gold Star members. I have a very special friend who’s husband was KIA in 2012. Is it possible to send her one or are the members already chosen?
Thank you,
Jennifer McMurtry
