Senior year. How did my third oldest grow up so dang fast? I have no idea how this happened but here she is, with Kemper, going to prom.
Kemper looks adorable doesn’t she? As an athlete, she isn’t one for big make-up. And it’s not that she needs it…but isn’t she so cute?
And then there’s Blissy. The theme for the prom was Vintage Hollywood…so here she is dressed up like an Oscar in her golden girl ensemble.
They love their daddy…and I love the look on their faces…
And this…ladies and gentlemen…is Max. Maxime. Or as I refer to him affectionately…Maxime the Great. Max and Bliss got to know one another because as soon as I mentioned that Blissy was interested in acting his mother reached out to me and helped us find our way around the theatre groups in town. She and I became fast friends and I will also tell you she is the FANTASTIC photographer behind the camera on all of these shots. Max and Bliss are that rare treasure of true friendship. They both love the arts, they both pursue their dreams passionately, they are both beyond their years. Because of such busy schedules, they rarely get to just hang out. But when they do, they talk for hours.
Blissy made the boutonniere by hand out of tissue paper, pearls, ribbons and a vintage angel pin.
All three about to head out for the night. Driving Ryli’s car. Please take a moment and appreciate Max’s shoes. Yes, they are velvet with a gold Fleur-des-lis. 🙂
Sally and I were in the road to get this shot…the kids are laughing at us as they are trying to make their get away. Never been so happy to see them off for such a good time. And they had a fabulous night full of adventures when they got home to tell us all about. God I love these kids!
Sally is such a gifted artist when it comes to photography…for more of her amazing work, visit her website.
