This picture perfectly describes the mood of these kiddos as we took Ryli and Bliss up to university. Soji, Crickie, Ransom– fine.
Little Stoney– not so much.
He’s been so easily ruffled these past few days. Bliss is his obvious favorite and he’s taken her absence pretty hard. I keep telling him we’ll be visiting soon and that her first holiday is not so far off– but at this point I don’t think any of that even matters. He misses his Blissy and that’s that.
Ransom, on the other hand, closest with Ryli, only has good things to say and all kinds of plans for when Ryli comes home. I guess that’s either a difference in personality, age or a combination of the two.
Either way– at least I get some extra snuggles!

Love means hurting when there is loss….temporary or more permanently…your children make me happy. Thank them for being blessings to people they don’t even know…but God does and He uses them to coax hesitant smiles on our hardest days. Love you, Lyette!

You are the most incredible woman I have ever read about! I am the youngest of 16 in a family of all natural births which I will tell you about in a private forum if you write back. Stop wearing the pink bikini, it’s dangerous! Your next book should be tittled, “Yield” with the title superimposed over a pink bikini. You and your story are seriously inspiring. Saw you on Fox this morning.
