Hard to believe that 8 years ago, Soji was placed in our family. Ransom was almost three months old and our busy home was quite literally crawling with wee ones!
Soji is an incredibly joyful child completely given over to performing. In fact, when she was struggling with her reading lessons, I would encourage her to sing afterwards as a reward for trying in her school time. Since then, she stands on the coffee table for impromtu performances several times a week and makes microphone stands out of tinker toys to sing away with. Her rendition of Hamilton’s “Schyler Sisters” is beyond adorable.
Sojourner Hope is an incredible gift to our family. She’s the tiniest package full of the biggest surprises and her brothers and sisters are her adoring fans at every “performance.” I can hardly wait to see what this little diva grows up to be– and I have a feeling all the world will be her stage. Soji-Cakes, we love you and a very happy happy birthday to our sweet Soji!!!!
