A sweet friend from elementary school lost her husband last week. I watched on Facebook as she expressed concern he was ill and within a short time frame he went from sick, to ICU, to Heaven’s gate.
This wonderful woman was always a kind soul that loved and laughed easily as a child and I imagine not much changed as she became a fine woman. She has four children who are also missing papa. I just marvel at how quickly life can turn and how much we can take for granted that is the very vitality we depend on.
Sweet Bridget, I am so very sorry for your loss. Our family prayed for your husband as he fell ill and our prayers will continue to follow you and your children. I’m asking that this community of families lift up Bridget and leave some encouraging comments below that she might know how many people care for her loss.

We’re coming up on 2 years of my fathers passing. After watching my mother lose her husband I can only try to imagine your pain. Thinking of you today.

Sending prayers for God’s peace, love and direction over this family. We don’t know His plan, but we can know His provision, protection and peace each day. God will never leave you, never forsake you. Turn to Him when you need to feel strong arms of love.

When peace like a river, attendeth my way
When sorrow like sea billows roll.
Whatever my lot,Thou has taught me to say
It is well,it is well
With my soul.
As sorrow rolls, may your days and nights be covered in peace that only comes from One.

Coming from someone you probably have never heard of; I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. Being able to wake up again and again every morning is a blessing and provides me with motivation to give back and help everyone that welcomes it throughout each and every day. I pray today for you, your children, and your family entirely. I hope that my blessings will find you and your family today with support, love, and affection from one friend to another. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain your family endures but I can only hope that thorough prayer and blessings that every new day will be a better one, filled with love, happiness and beauty. I will pray for you and your family today knowing that God has a plan for you, stay strong, never give up, and always forgive through endless love.
